Starting with mountain biking in 1999. My favourite bike spot are the Dolomite Alps (the most beautiful mountains in the world) in northern Italy.
The most challenging events during my bike career were joining the Transalp Challenge, an eight days supported race across the Alps, in 2006, the Transgermany, a four days supported race in southern Germany and Austria, in 2011 and of course the Grenzsteintrophy (self supported race along the former border to East Germany) in 2012.
